5 Easy and Quick Lunch Ideas That You Would Like to Steal

Preparing meals at home is good both for your health and wallets. But you have other priorities too. So, spending hours in the kitchen is not always possible for you. What to do? Will you depend on food delivery services? Well, it is not always necessary!

Then, what is the option? You can prepare an easy and quick lunch at home. Need some ideas? Here, we have listed down a few ideas of a health and nutrition consultant -

1. Kale Walnut Pesto Pasta

You have only 20 minutes at hand and you want to prepare lunch. Well, not to worry. Prepare pasta and add some ingredients. To prepare this mouthwatering lunch, just combine some kale leaves, walnuts, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic, and olive oil in a food processor. Add roasted grape tomatoes to lend a sweet, smokey flavor to the savoury pasta.

2. Crunchy Asian Ramen Noodle Salad

This crunchy, colorful salad is just what the doctor ordered when leafy-greens-based varieties seem boring you. To prepare this delicious salad, spread the ramen noodles and almonds out on a baking sheet and toast them for around 10 to 15 minutes until they seem lightly golden. Then add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and give them a good toss. And in no time, the salad is ready. Enjoy it.

3. Chicken burrito

You have yesterday's leftover chicken in your fridge. Why not use them to prepare a quick and healthy lunch. What to prepare? Well, a chicken burrito will be a great option for you. Mix it with cheese and avocado before wrapping it up in a tortilla and cooking it. To go one step further, you can add some onions, peppers, and maybe some leafy vegetables filling. You can make a few at once and then freeze the extras for an even faster lunch next time.

4. Creamy buffalo chicken and black bean quesadillas

Want to enjoy a spicy lunch loaded with flavor? Try this lunch. In a small saucepan combine chicken, wing sauce, sour cream, salt, black beans and pepper to taste. Stir and bring to a slight shimmer and then remove from the heat. Heat at a medium flame and place the tortilla on a heated skillet. Spread the chicken mixture onto one half of the tortilla and sprinkle with cheese. Chook for five minutes and fold the top of the quesadilla in half to close the quesadilla. Flip and cook for another few minutes until the cheese is melted. Garnish with cream and onion.

5. Tomato salad and stuffed avocados

Another great lunch! It is not only good for moist desserts, guacamole, and rich smoothies, avocados are designed to be stuffed. Remove the pit and then fill the center with a mixture of feta, tomato, onion and herbs for a filling meal. And it is pretty enough to serve at a brunch. After all, not every breakfast meets-lunch recipe should take hours to prepare.

As there is no hard and fast rule for cooking, you can change some of the ingredients of the recipes and add something else as per your preferences. Prepare these delicious dishes and enjoy them.
